Sylvio Jacques began his career as a television director in the early 2000s. At ease as much in fiction as in documentary, he enjoys playing with emotion, humor, and images. Having developed an interest in youth programming, he distinguished himself by directing “Les Débrouillards”, for which he was nominated for the Prix Gémeaux in the best director category and, “Là est la question”, which received at the Youth Media Alliance Gala, the public award and the best transmedia project award. In 2017 he made his first short film: “Under the Florida Snow”.
